    Field Quality Manager – Civil (Water, Wastewater Construction)

    Location: Victoria, BC


    The Field Quality Manager will be directly responsible for all quality related activities on the assigned site location. They will implement and maintain Maple Reinders and ISO quality programs on site. This includes management of all sub-contractors and Maple Reinders personnel specific to the project, performing dimensional and visual inspection of products, assemblies, and auditing processes/documentation to ensure compliance to requirements. The Field Quality Manager will promote quality awareness, compliance, and continuous improvement to positively influence the overall success of the Quality Program.



    At Maple, we look for leaders, who display their leadership skills by:

    • Responsible for the development and implementation of the Project Quality Plan and implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001-2015 program

    • Support the implementation of CAR, NCR required from audit findings
    • Responsible for evaluation and management of equipment purchases specific to site
    • Ensure Code and Client fabrication, PWHT and NDE requirements are implemented and completed at field sites
    • Responsible for the documentation review, analysis, and maintenance including various reports, logs, test packages, certifications, NDE, and turnover documentation



    Our Field Quality Managers are responsible for Water, Waste Water projects typically in the value of $10-$50M.    To qualify for this position, the ideal candidate will have:

    • Experience with ISO 9001-2015 required; auditor, auditor management, program creation/implementation/maintenance

    • Experience in conducting quality audits required
    • 10 or more years of experience in progressive quality related roles
    • Degree or certification in an electrical or mechanical program
    • Quality management experience on large, multi-disciplined construction projects (non-shutdown) required
    • Proficient understanding of welding processes
